LETTER FROM SISTER COLETTE – ‘I am writing to let you know that I have been sent to the Presentation Convent in Matlock. I will never forget the parishioners of Mossley. It is so like a family. But my superiors felt I needed a change. I will never forget you. Thank you for making me so much at home. God bless you and all your families. Love and prayers, Sister Collete.’ We do thank Sister Colette for her dedicated ministry, over many years, at Tameside Hospital and the Hospice, offering comfort, support and prayers.

NOTE FROM SUE GLYNN –‘After a fairly disasterous 2020 I’m hoping this year will exceed all expectations. I am asking churches and schools, et al, to ask people to purchase an event poppy (15″) to display on their property in memory of our fallen heroes or family member or loved one. These are £5 – if interested contact me on 07966247692. Many thanks, Sue Glynn.

CHANGE AT ST ANNE’S – this week Fr Simon goes to Rochdale to be replaced by two priests from the Augustinian Congregation. We wish them well.

NOW – no requirement to wear a mask in church – whatever we think best.

ENJOY – please God, all can relax a little this bank holiday

ST FRANCIS OF ASSISI -‘ We must bear patiently not being good.. and not being thought good.’
