Crematorium on Monday at 2.30pm.
REQUIEM MASS – for Thomas Burns takes place on Friday at 12 noon.

POPPY APPEAL – at St Joseph’s raised £76.61 Many thanks
MASS TIMES THIS WEEK – 10am each day – except Wednesday – 12 noon.
FEASTS THIS WEEK – Tues-St Francis Xavier, Wed-St John Damascene, Fri-St
Nicholas, Sat- St Ambrose
ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – the perfect devotion for the
season of Advent – Friday at 9 till 10am.
CONFESSIONS – Saturday after 10am Mass and at 5.55pm.
ADVENT BOOKLETS AND CALENDARS – are in the porch – do take one –
there is no charge.
TEA AND COFFEE – in the parish room after Mass – access through sacristy.
FOOD BANK – once again, a big thank you for the food left in the porch – taken
to the Food Bank on Thursday and ever so gratefully received.
SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMME – the parents and children invovled in First
Holy Communion preparation meet today at 9.15am in the parish room.
PARISH CHRISTMAS BUFFET – takes place this Wednesday after the 12 noon
Mass – it promises to be a great occasion.
QIGONG CLASS – Thursday at 7.15 till 8.15pm
GYPSY – we go to see Gypsy at the Royal Exchange Theatre on Tuesday week.
The coach will leave from the bus stop by the Market Place at 6.15pm. If
outstanding ticket money could be paid this weekend – £45 inc transport.
PIETY STALL – an abundance of cards and gift available
ST DAMIEN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY – will be held on Thursday 12th
December between 11.30 and 1.30pm – transport is available – list in the porch.
OUR ADVENT WREATH – reminds us that Advent is here. We do our best,
when we can, to shut out the noise and the clamour and try to focus on the beauty
of Christ’s coming – he came in history, he comes to us now in mystery, and one
day, he will come in majesty. We are so blessed..
VOLUNTEER SOUGHT – once a month, to help with the refreshments after
Mass – do mention it if you are able and willing to help.
SCHOOL CHRISTMAS FAIR – will be held on Friday 13th December from 3.15
till 5pm. Unwanted presents and cakes etc would be welcome.
ELECTRICAL INSPECTION – takes place on Tuesday – all part of health and
safety requirements
