FOOD BANK – once again, a big thank you for the food so kindly left in the porch – taken to the Food Bank on Thursday and ever so gratefully received.
OUR NEXT PARISH LUNCH – is on Wednesday 19th June – the list is in the porch and all are welcome.
QIGONG CLASS – is on Thursday at 7.15 till 8.15pm
HOPE IN THE FUTURE MEETING – THIS MONDAY AT 7PM. The bishop is insistent that all parishes consider and implement Hope in the Future Programme. We will do our best. Please feel free to come along – will finish at 8.
ACTION MEN REQUIRED – on Monday evening – 6.45pm – two parishioners assemble the banners for the procession – and would dearly love if someone would give them a lift. Opportunity knocks!
WHIT PROCESSION VOLUNTEERS – we walk on Friday week – hopefully, in warm sunshine. There is a list in the porch asking for volunteers for stewarding, carrying the banners and statues
MAGIC GOES WRONG – at the Lowry Theatre in August. We did see The Play that Goes Wrong some time back. We have left a list in the porch. Parishioners can always have a dip in the Manchester Ship Canal before the performance!
SUMMER OUTING – have left a list in the porch for our outing on Sunday 30th June to Whalley Abbey and then on to St Anne’s for some sea air and fish and chips. Cost £5 It should be a lovely afternoon out; so far our trips have been blessed with good weather
