REQUIEM MASS – for Monica Brennan is on Mondaly 7th November at 10.30.
ALL SAINTS (TUESDAY) – Mass at 10am and 7pm
HOLY SOULS (WEDNESDAY) – Mass at 10am and 7pm
CONFESSIONS – Saturdays at 10.30am and 6.10pm
TEA AND COFFEE – in the parish room after Mass – access through sacristy.
PARISH LUNCH – another happy gathering for a splendid meal; Lancashire Fare at its best – our gratitude to our chefs and helpers – next – our Christmas lunch.
SOMETHING DIFFERENT – another version of Brexit! We have decided to have a Christmas Fair sabbatical this year, and instead of asking parishioners for gifts and contributions towards the Fair, on the weekend of 10th/11th December, will invite parishioners to enjoy a drink and a mince pie instead.
PIETY STALL – lots of cards and gifts available.
BILLY ELLIOT (14th Dec) – tickets can be paid for during November – £50 including transport – slightly dearer this time.
SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMME – the parents and children involved in First Holy Communion meet in church next Sunday at 9am.
MEDITATION – our final meeting in this series – 7.15-8.15 in the Little Chapel on Monday evening All welcome. Every so often, we will meet for six weeks as we have done this time.
OTHER FEASTS THIS WEEK – Thurs- St Martin de Porres and St Winifride
(her well at Holywell still a place of pilgrimage) Fri-St Charles Borromeo.
CATHEDRAL CENTRE CAFE – is now open – presently 11-2pm with a full lunchtime menu and a daily hot meal special. Opening times will be extendid at the end of November. The bookshop is open all day.

ST TERESA – ‘Let nothing disturb you/ Let nothing frighten you/ All things pass away:/ God never changes./Patience obtains all things./ He who has God / Finds he lacks nothing; / God alone suffices.’
PARISH MAGAZINE – the dark nights might just encourage that article!!
CHATSWORTH OUTING – will collect the fare (£5) on the coach – doesn’t include afternoon tea with the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire!
NOVEMBER REMEMBRANCE BOOK – as usual we will leave the Remembrance Book in the sanctuary in November for the names of deceased family and friends to be entered – and prayed for each day during Mass.
BALMY DAYS – so far, but chillier days are on the horizon- thank God for parkin.
