CHRISTMAS EVE – MASS AT 5.30 pm – CAROLS BEFORE.
CHRISTMAS DAY – MASS AT 10.30 am


APOLOGIES – no tea and coffee for the next two Sundays.
MOSSLEY FOOD BANK – the Food Bank staff were thrilled with abundance of food received from St Joseph’s on Thursday – well done Josephians – and especially with the mince pies, puddings and chocolates. many, many thanks.
XI GONG – will resume on Thursday 10th January- already the particpants are walking like ballet dancers!

THE KING AND I – is on at the Opera House 26th April till 11th May – winner of 4 Tony Awards – ‘I doubt I’ll ever see a better production in my lifetime’ – Wall Street Journal. The greatest musical form the golden age of musicals. We have left a list in the porch – add ‘S’ for stalls.
ALL JOYS AND BLESSINGS FOR CHRISTMAS – and hope that we can all put our feet up at some stage over the holiday. We have enjured leaden skies for most of the week and frequent downpours; hopefully, things will get better, though the sun is somewhat furtive. It will be a relief not to go shopping for a few days this coming week.
HUGH LAVERY ‘ Christianity cannot be proved. It can only be witnessed – by Christians. By men and women who have, over two millenia, found in Christ the neighbour they need, the saviour they sought, the light that illumines the whole landscape of reality and makes them say, ‘It is good to be here.’
JUST IN CASE – there is’t a bulletin next weekend, many thanks for everything given and shared over the past year – and on New Year’s Day Mass is at 12 noon with Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament at 11 till 12 praying for Peace.
