DEANERY STATION MASS DURING LENT – Tuesdays at 7.30pm. This week the Station Mass will be at Holy Rosary, Fitton Hill. Bishop John will be preaching. Next Tuesday, the Deanery Station Mass is here.

FOOD PARCELS – many thanks for the food parcels left for the Mossley Food Bank – taken on Thursday. Food items can be left in the porch.
NEXT SUNDAY – 4th March. Three Parks Link Walk – join Paul Nethercott on an 11 mile moderate walk linking Stamford, Cheetham and Stalybridge Country parks. 10am till 4pm -Staley Way car park, Huddersfield Road.
DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO WALSINGHAM – on Saturday 5th May. Anyone wishing to join the pilgrimage, please contact Colin Riley at St Patrick’s as soon as possible before 31st March. Tel: 07756904852. Cost £20/£25.
HOPE IN THE FUTURE – a meeting for the parish team has been arranged for Wednesday 14th March at 7pm in the parish room.
PARISH LUNCH – our next parish lunch is on Wednesday 14th March. All welcome – there is a list in the porch.
NEW READERS AND EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS – there is a list in the porch for those wishing to help out in these two ministries.
CAFOD FUND RAISING EVENT – at St Edward’s, Lees, on Friday 16th March at 7.30pm. A concert by Tameside Community Voices- bar available – tickets £5 – names can be put on the sheet in the porch . Money raised is matched (doubled) by the Government – supporting sanitation and water projects.
PRESBYTERY JOYS – ominous 3’s much in evidence recently. First the iron decided to call it a day; then the kettle through in the towel; finally, the heating boiler gave up the ghost! Happy days! – but all good fun.
