ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – Fridays at 9-10am

TEA AND COFFEE – in the parish room after Mass
SUMMER PARISH LUNCH – this Wednesday after 12 noon Mass – all welcome
GUYS AND DOLLS – at the Royal Exchange Theatre – the tickets have been booked for Thursday 7th December – and the cost is £40 including transport. Money can be paid in November.
AND JUST WONDERING – Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award winning masterpiece SUNSET BOULEVARD is on tour and comes to Manchester in October, starring Rita Jones as Norma Desmond – Joining BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing finalist Danny Mac and a host of others. Will leave a list in the porch to see what the take up is. Some great songs – News ways to dream; surrender….
It is on at the Palace, so put S – for stalls – if you require more leg room.
OUR TRIP TO YORK – will take place on Sunday 27th August and the cost is £5. We will probably have to leave a little earlier than usual. It is always a joy to visit York and the Minster is something quite special. List in the porch.
RED BOXES – the amount collected this quarter – £536.64 – Thank you.
TOUR de BLACKPOOL – we wish Dean Aylett God’s speed as he cycles to Blackpool today to raise money for charity.
THREE PARKS LINK WALK – Sunday 16th July – an 11 mile moderate walk with Paul Nethercott linking Stanford, Cheetham and Stalybridge Country Parks.
10am – 4pm Staley Way car park, Huddersfield Road.
EXHIBITION OF ARTWORKS – inspired by the Syrian conflict is on at the Cathedral this weekend – 12 noon onwards.

WIMBLEDON FEVER – is clearly gripping Mossley; the streets have been strangely quiet during the afternoon and evening! No extremes of weather this past week and the occasional very welcome shower. The school closes at 2pm on 27th July.
WELL I NEVER – Churchill was so beguiled by Vintage Pol champagne that he drank 500 cases of it during the last ten years of his life. That’s one and a half bottles a day, every day. Not bad going – and that doesn’t include…….!
