AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED – APPEAL – £475.58 – on behalf of the ATCIN, Chris Robson, who gave the appeal, sends his gratitude for the generosity shown by the parishioners of St Joseph’s. He did mention to let him know if anyone would care to be a rep – ie, to put up the odd poster on the notice board and flag up events.
MISSIO – RED BOX APPEAL – Once again, many thanks to all who helped to collect £522.37 for the missions. Sue Glynn.

SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMME – there will be a meeting for parents of children who are making their Confirmation and Communion next year on Monday 21st October at 6.30pm at church.

We are led to believe that Fr Peter Tierney is to become the next parish priest of St Stephen’s, Droylsden. We wish him a happy ministry there. Fr Fallon has retired to South Manchester.
