ANNIVERSARIES – Wayne Jeffries (Birthday Anniversary)

MASS TIMES THIS WEEEK – Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat, at 10am Thursday and Friday at 12 noon

FUNERAL SERVICE- for Paul Oliver is on Thursday at 10am

FUNERAL SERVICE – for Alec Hall is at the crematorium on Friday at 10am

ADORATION OF THE BLESSED SACRAMENT – this week it will be at 11am until 12 noon – do note the change in time.

CONFESSIONS – Saturdays at 10.30am and 6.10pm

MAY DEVOTIONS – during May we have Rosary and Benediction on Thursday evenings at 7pm. We might be able to manage one evening in the month; it’s not easy, these days, to find the best time and the best day.

FOOD PARCELS – many thanks for the food left in the presbytery porch; it has been passed on to those in need.

SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMME – parents and children meet next Sunday before Mass. The following Sunday is Whit Sunday.

PARISH ROOM – is now complete – minus chairs and tables. Do have a look in after Mass – access through the sacristy; it will be lovely to have a meeting place.

TEA AND COFFEE ROTA – we are looking for 8 volunteers to help with the tea and coffee in the parish room after Mass on Sundays. If we have 4 teams of two people then it will spread the workload. We have left a list at the back of church – one way of getting lots of grace!

TEDDY BEAR PARACHUTE DROP – St George’s Tower on Saturday 18th May. Registration at 2pm – first jump at 2.30pm.

PARISH MAGAZINE – next edition – late June- articles, comments, recipies, poetry, etc, to: the josephian@aol.com Read the magazine on the web site.

NEXT WALK – we will shortly announce our next walk for a Sunday in June.

PARISH LUNCH – change in date – it will now be on Thursday, 30th May. We will leave a list out next week.

OFF THE TREADMILL – hope that parishioners can chill out this weekend.

What a joy it is to have an extra day off work, and, the weather forecast is promising. Even the birds have started singing again so things are looking up.

Spring cleaning can now start in earnest!

WICKED – (Tuesday 22nd October) – tickets can be paid for during the month of May (or later if it is not convenient) and the cost is £45.

ALLELUIA, ALLELUIA – The Lord is risen, he is risen indeed!
