LATELY DEAD – Patrick Hand, Elizabeth Gauld, Bernadette Mifsud (Carey), Jimmy Robinson. May they rest in peace.

ANNIVERSARIES – Patricia Armfield; Adrian Moss, Lily Graham (Birthday Anniversary).

MASS TIMES THIS WEEK 10am each day.

FUNERAL SERVICE – for Eizabeth Gold will take place on Thursday at 1.45


CONFESSIONS – Saturdays at 10.30am and 6.10pm

STATIONS OF THE CROSS DURING LENT -Tuesday & Thursday at 7pm

DEANERY STATION MASS – this Tuesday at St Edward’s, Lees, at 7.30pm

LECTION DIVINA AND CENTERING PRAYER – on the Mondays of Lent at 7.30-8.30pm in the presbytery. All welcome

THEATRE OUTING TO SEE WEST SIDE STORY – at the Palace Theatre early January. One of the great shows. The list is in the porch.

CATS – next week we will collect the money for the outing to Cats on Tuesday 16th April – £35 including transport.

PARISH MAGAZINE – All stations go! We thought that a good name for the magazine would be ‘The Josephian’. Articles, poems, recipies, holiday memories, stories, characters, etc, can be emailed to: [email protected]

However, anything handwritten or typed can be left at the presbytery.

MOTHERING SUNDAY – saluting all mothers today and hope that you are well and truly indulged.

ST. PATRICK’S DAY -the piety stall organisers have catered for the occasion

PARISH ROOM – preparations have begun and surplus to requirement items have gone into the skip. In a couple of months it will look like Buckingham Palace, though perhaps, not quite as posh.

CARDINAL VIRTUES – will need to be the fore this week as the Cardinals gather in the Conclave to elect the new pope. At least we can forget about the cardinal sins for a while! We would do well to pray for the church during the coming week. SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMME – next Sunday – 9.15am.

AND HALF WAY THROUGH LENT – it doesn’t get any easier. We encourage one another – if we walk towards the Lord then he comes running towards us – as in the story of the prodigal son. Please God we will do our best.

SCARECROW ARTISTS – Pat will be calling a meeting next week.

FOOD PARCELS -are distributed to needy families from the Methodist Church- any items of food- cans, etc, can be left in the presbytery porch.
