SACRAMENTAL PROGRAMME – meeting for parents on Wednesday, 17th October, at 6.45pm in church.
CHANGE IN MASS TIME – as mentioned last week, on 28th October, when the clocks go back, we will move the 9.30 Mass back to 10am. It shoud be a more agreeable time during the winter months.
CATHOLIC PAPER – once again there are free copies of a Catholic paper in the porch that have been sent to us.
CHRISTMAS FAIR (17th November) – a list in the porch of the various stalls – do add your name if you would like to help out.
MASSES – just mentioning that the Mass intentions are left on the Prayer Board in the porch. Just say on what day you would like the Mass to be said.
LINKS PAGE – on the website may be useful. A parishioners was saying that she finds the Notting Hill Carmelite’s talks really helpful. Also, a new Catholic Internet Radio Station is now broadcasting – www.hguh.co.uk – daily Mass, prayers, interviews, music, news, etc.
EELS – she was stewing eels in the kitchen, and he kissed her before she could move. Leaning across the pan to salute her, he was head over eels in love!
A TRIUMPH – the outing to Sister Act was truly enjoyable. The cast received a standing ovation for a ripping and rousing production. In a couple of weeks we will collect the money for The Lion King (Feb 19) – slightly more expensive – £43 including transport).
