LENTEN WEATHER – this past week and no end of gloomy days, though Sunday and Tuesday attempted to raise our spirits. Just three weeks left of Lent, so we encourage one another to take a deep breath and take the plunge! If we don’t do anything, we will really feel disappointed with ourselves when Easter arrives; that we didn’t make the journey. As in Advent, we will have a Penance Service during Holy Week.

STOP PRESS – we have just heard that Fr Joseph Power died in the early hours of this morning (Saturday). May he rest in peace.
